AUCTION NOTICE FOR DISPOSAL OF E-WASTE ITEMS

(Electrical and Electronic Equipments including parts and spare)

Ref: Tender Notice published in the daily Newspaper ‘The Statesman’ and ‘Puber Kalom’ dated 31^st July, 2022

Sealed tenders are invited from registered vendors (Recycler/Re-processors) for auction of E-waste items (Electrical and Electronic Equipments including parts and spare) as mentioned in the List (Annexure-A) for the financial year 2022-2023.

All the items as per Annexure-A are located in the different Departments of Maulana Azad College, Kolkata.

Registered vendors (Recycler/Re-processors) should have the authority of environment friendly disposal of the E-waste materials as prescribed by the Government norms.

Registered vendors (Recycler/Re-processors) are requested to physically inspect the E-waste items (as per the List provided in Annexure-A) lying in the different Departments of the College, between 12 noon to 3 p.m. on any working day of the week, before submitting their Tender documents.Names of the Departments of the College to visit for physical inspection of the E-waste items: Physics, Zoology, Microbiology, Botany, Mathematics, Chemistry, Commerce, Central Library, Students’ section, and Principal’s Office.

Eligibility Criteria:

1.       Valid registration for Recycler/Re-processors of E-waste with Central Pollution Control Board/ State Pollution Control Board. A copy of certificate must be attached with the bid.

General Terms and Conditions:

1.       The bids will be valid for a period of 30 days from the date of opening the bids.

2.      The bidders may inspect the E-waste items on a predetermined date and fully satisfy themselves about the items before submitting their bids.

3.      The items would be auctioned to the highest bidder.

4.      The successful bidder shall be required to lift all the items from the disposal site of the College within 5 (Five) days after the payment of the quoted amount.

5.      No items, once disposed to the successful bidders, shall be taken back on any condition whatsoever.

6.      Total prices should be inclusive of all miscellaneous charges like transportation, labour, GST or any other expenses etc. The contract will be awarded on comparison of consolidated price of all items.

7.      The successful bidder has to make full balance payment in the Government exchequer.

8.      The financial bid should be quoted both in figures and words inclusive of GST amount (if any), which shall be borne by the bidder.

9.      The authority has every right to cancel any Quotation without stating any reasons, thereof.

10.   Preference will be given to any Govt. Or Govt. undertaking agencies.

11.    Sealed Quotations should be addressed to The Principal, Maulana Azad College, Kolkataand should be submitted along with the documents of:

i) Valid registration/authorisation for Recycler/Re-processors of E-waste with Central Pollution Control Board/ State Pollution Control Board, ii) Latest annual return filled to the State Pollution Control Board, iii) Income Tax Clearance, iv) Photocopy of PAN card, v) GST No., vi) Trade Licenseas applicable, vii) Contact details with Mobile No., and E-mail.

ð  Registered vendors from Govt. or Govt. undertaking agencies will be preferred.
